
I think this picture is pretty self-explanatory. It's an Australian electrical outlet! :) See that handy little switch in the upper left corner? That switch turns the power on and off to the outlet. Pretty nifty, eh? It saves electricity, little children who often think forks or other objects belong in those outlets, and the parents fingers from trying to get those little plastic safety thingies out of the outlet when they are having a hairdryer emergency and the rotten little plastic thingie just won't budge.
* Michelle pointed out something in the comments, the kid could actually flip the switch themselves, so I guess we're back to the little plastic thingies. :(

...so can the kids flip that handy dandy little switch? it seems very convenient, yet a little unsafe at the same time...
The outlets look like little sad faces. :(
I think it's the "eyes."
Or maybe I need therapy for seein sad faces in electrical outlets... maybe.
