Can you count to 6?

I sure can. Yes, that is right, we leave in 6 days. Today is the beginning of the serious good-byes. This afternoon Miss Priss will have the final playdate with her best friend since she was 6 monthes old. She is, of course, super excited. I threatened cancellation of the playdate if she didn't finish her schoolwork. If you could only see the motivation that followed. She might finish 1st grade in a matter of hours if I don't stop her. :)

I talked to my wonderful, fantastic husband again this morning. He said it's rained a lot in Sri Lanka since he's been there. The power was out the other day. The food is good. It's hot, but not as bad as Oklahoma. He's done some shopping and Uncle Shehan has already bought a couple of DVD's for the girls. He is basically having a good time. I'm glad he's having a good time. He needs it. :)

I finished most of my to-do list. Here is what's left:

1. Pack the last bag (can't really happen until the night before)

2. Traveller's checks

3. Close account

Miss Priss and The Boss have developed snotty noses. Yeuck. They sound congested and slightly miserable. That is not good. Prayer for quick healing is needed. I really don't want miserable children on the flight. :/
