I'm such a headcase

I've been having headaches almost every single day for the past month or two. I mentioned in a previous post about my evil bad headaches and the beauty of selling tylenol with codeine over the counter. Bliss! I eventually broke down and went to the doctor last week only to be told I should have a brain scan. Yipes! I wasn't really worried because I knew the doctor was just being cautious, but still. Brain scan just sounds ominous. Well, I had the brain scan and found out the results were normal. No tumour or other abnormalities for me. I now have proof that I am normal. (somewhat) The only problem with having your head examined and nothing being wrong, is that we don't know what is causing my headaches. Hmm. The next thing I did was do a little bit of internet research and checked out an armful of library books about anything from macrobiotics, veganism for health, healing foods, and detox. I also grabbed a book on conquering your migraines. My headaches are not technically migraines, but I'm hoping some of their suggestions will work. I haven't actually read my library books yet, but with my internet research I've decided to try an elimination diet and see if there is a food triggering my headaches. The first things to be eliminated are chocolate and caffeine. I eat atleast one small piece of chocolate almost every single day. I am a chocaholic in a bad way. If I'm having a bad day, chocolate will make the puppies and rainbows return to my life. Honestly though, chocolate isn't worth a daily headache. I can live without my puppies and rainbows.

I'm hoping it's not chocolate, so you don't have to give up your puppies and rainbows. That would pretty much stink.

I hope you figure it out and that it's an easy fix.

Sorry to hear that, P. I don't know what you have in your house in the way of cleaning chemicals, etc., but that's also a good place to start. Let's all pray that caffeine and chocolate will be let off the hook!
